PHOTOS: Sunglass Hut Reopens After 5

After being closed for five months for refurbishment, Sunglass Hut has reopened in Disney Springs. Let’s take a look.

Golden paneling has created two archways at the entrance to the store.

The archways are rimmed with curved golden pieces, and flat golden paneling is above the windows.

Triangular shaped mirrors fill the ceiling, creating a very unique design.

Rows of sunglasses line the walls and are backlit. Islands of sunglasses also allow shoppers to take a look.

Some uniquely Disney Ray Ban sunglasses are also available for purchase.

These glasses have some classic Mickey Mouse drawings on them.

A large mirror in the back of the store allows guests to catch a glimpse of themselves wearing new shades before they purchase.

A large Sunglass Hut logo can also be seen on the mirror.

For comparison, above is what Sunglass Icon by Sunglass Hut looked like right when construction began. The new design seems to lean more toward lighter colors.

While Sunglass Hut was closed, the Sunglass Outfitters truck was available near the Aerophile balloon.

The Cilantro Urban Eatery food truck has returned to Disney Springs for daily operation, replacing Disney’s mac and cheese food truck.

Lettuce Entertain You is the owner of both Beatrix and Summer House Santa Monica, which are both considered Chicago staples. Gray brickwork was recently installed during construction.
